Smartplant Instrumentation - unable to use instrument index

(OP)
I installed SmartPlant Instrumentation 2013 on my laptop. Then I start the instrument index module. When I click tables, the menu items like instrument types, I/O types, etc., are grayed out so I cannot select them. How can I resolve this so I can start using the full features of the module?

I have attached a screen shot of the display.

Thanks in advance for your support

RE: Smartplant Instrumentation - unable to use instrument index

Are you sure you have a complete vision of the SmartPlant program on your PC?
Or, you may verify if the list of the reference tables are existed in document you work on.
