Hi,

What will be the governing International Standard to be specified for Gas turbine generators for Power generation application. Client is cost conscious and looking for fit for purpose units, however meeting local regulations (Emissions etc.) and plant availability (99%) requirement.

I have following queries:
1. Design Standard for GTG: In the absence of Client Specs. Is there any alternate International Standard for Gas turbines other than API 616? What is the common power industry standard used ?
2. What is the major difference for API and non-API gas Turbines, with respect to cost, reliability, testing etc.

Additional Info:
Each GT is site rated for 28MW, works in Open cycle mode with future provision of combined cycle operation.
