Dear colleagues,

I need your assistance in checking my attached translation to the video about our mobile application for civil construction surveyors into English. I see that you can hardly understand it in Russian, but I hope you can look through my written translation of the speech which accompanies the video. I am really not sure that I use correct vocabulary. But if it is correct I can make an English voice-over for the video.

My translation is attached.

RE: Please let me know if my translation for video is clear

I can't look at a .doc file. Can you provide us with just a .RTF or .TXT?

I would suggest the best approach is to try and locate someone with an interest in this equipment who is a native or near native English speaker as a very quick review of the text would indicate a lot of work / time is required to make it presentable.

Could be a great project for a university student or a group of students studying English as a second language.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

Keith; Take a look at Open Office.
Link
I have been using it for years.
It opens and saves in .doc and a lot of other formats, including several MS word formats.
I've been using it for years.
It does Word Processing, Spread Sheets, Data Base, Presentations and more.
I mostly use the Word Processor and the Spread Sheets.
The price is right.
