Hi,

I am designing a splined shaft that will mate to a Dana Spicer 1550 Slip Yoke. Does anyone know what spline standard Spicer uses for their slip yokes? I would like to be able to give the exact spline definition to our machine shop producing the part.

I don’t, but try giving them a ring. As an OEM I’ve had good luck with getting technical info and CAD models from them (with an NDA in place, naturally).

According to their catalog the tube type is 1.75"-16 spline.
If I recall they appear to be an involute profile.
