What type of coating can be use for inserts, pin and die if the glass fiber content of material is 45%.
Material is SKD11, yes Nitriding is one however it is good only when the glass fiber content is 30%.
Any recommendation?

How about using bigger sections and less glass in the resin?

With 45 pct glass, you will suffer rapid mold wear even with the hardest steel, and the fibers will probably not orient like you wish anyway, so you will probably not achieve what must be a strength objective.

If the part doesn't have to fly, a little extra weight might make it more satisfactory in every way.
