Part selection issues in Nx9

Part selection issues in Nx9

Part selection issues in Nx9

I have an issue in Nx9 where if I box select an assembly it will only select parts that you can see, if you turn the model after the selection you can visually see the parts that are not selected...

I have copied the \AppData\Local\Siemens\NX90 folder from a co-workers machine to replace mine to no effect.
I have also had our IT department do a fresh install of Nx9 and Nx11 on my machine, Nx11 dose not have the same issue only Nx9

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Part selection issues in Nx9

Isn't this connected to your "See Thru" Settings? Don't know exactly where to find them but you can search for it.

The "allow multi-select of hidden bodies and faces" option on the selection bar may also play a part in this.

RE: Part selection issues in Nx9

The "allow multi-select of hidden bodies and faces" got it done!
thank you very much! I didn't even know this was an option, it was hidden in the pull down...

thanks again
