pipe protection slab

pipe protection slab

pipe protection slab

i'v designed a protection slab 12.8m of soil cover ,it's not a slab on grade ,

the salb is 12m long 2.5 ,wide (one way slab) , soil weight is 19KN/m3 ,, so total load on slab will be

12.8m depth x 12m long x 2.5 wide x 19 = 6840 KN , since the load is on the 2.5m span , so 6840/12 long = 570 KN/m ,
as uniformly distributed load on a 2.5m simply supported 1m section slab ,the RI will be for each 1m of the 12m long. and min RI parallel to the 12m.

did i do something wrong in the load calculation ( assume that i didn't forget any other load or factored load or live load or truck load )
