Anodize

Anodize

(OP)
We send aerospace parts out to our vendor for black anodize, they came back with no dye color in a very small area, I understand the allowance touch up requirements (MIL-A-8625). but in order for us to send the parts back to our vendor for strip and re-anodize will take about 2-3 weeks, I was wondering if we can use the attached chemical to bring up the color areas.( there is anodize on those areas is just missing the color), Are we allow to perform this type of rework or is very strict that parts have to go back to our vendor for rework?
Thank You, all for your help in advance.

RE: Anodize

Ask your customer. A black Sharpie pen does a pretty good job for such touch-ups.
