Plastics Eating Worms

Plastics Eating Worms

Hello, I found an article talking about these worms that eat plastics! Does anyone have problems with this fellows? Is it possible that they act like termites??

RE: Plastics Eating Worms

Problems? Are you expecting someone to be infested with these little guys?

It is estimated that the average individual uses more than 200 plastic bags in their lifetime
Say what? I would think the average individual uses that many bags in a year or less, not a lifetime. Anyone who packs a lunch probably uses several times that in a year, and that's just ziploc sandwich bags.
