@IRStuff, I am not posting in the Control forum anymore. The control forum moderator deleted the thread you were looking for. The control forum moderator seemed to think the topic wasn't suitable and that the control forum moderator knows better. Strange, I see someone found the link I posted and reposted it. My position now is let the control forum moderator answer the questions. He claims to know it all.

The control forum moderator has also deleted Bi-Volts threads but I put a little work into those threads de-bunking Bi-Volts technique or lack of technique.
I see no point in posting in the control forum if the thread and posts are going to be deleted.

I have lots of YouTube videos where I use Mathcad as my main tool for making the presentation.
If you guys want to see Mathcad being used for control see my 'Peter Ponders PID' YouTube channel. The videos target advanced control topics so knowing differential equations and Laplace transforms, state space and Laplace transforms is a must.

Sorry I only have Mathcad 13 and have no plans to update. I can't help people with their Mathcad prime problems.

Sorry to hear that. Bi-Volt was a very disruptive member, both in the content and manner of posting. I don't know who ratted him out, but I was already ignoring and thread that he participated in.

Peter,

There is no one forum moderator, or even group of moderators, for any particular forum. This site is moderated by all members through Red Flags, which cause site management to review the flagged post, and possibly the entire thread. I'm guessing that none of your posts were red-flagged, but that some of Bi-Volt's were, especially the later posts. It seemed as though reasonable discussion had devolved into mudslinging by that member in some threads. Your posts were thoughtfully prepared, and I valued them - I'm sure others did as well. As to why whole threads in that forum disappeared, I have no guess. Your expertise will be missed there.

oops sorry about the wrong forum post. Sometimes neg-tips adds forums to my list and I clicked on matlab instead mathcad obviously.

No, my thread about time constants not being constant was deleted and someone make some not nice comment about me. Bi-Volt did not post on my thread about time constants. I have picked up a troll. Someone has also put thumbs down on my YT videos with no explanation.

It's likely that the forum management decided that the poster was too disruptive and not contributing positively to the site and to that specific forum.
Is that just for one person to decide? It seems so. Bi-Volt posted some things that showed a lack of experience. However, I think there was something to be gained by pointing out where he was wrong and how to do what Bi-Volt was trying to do the correct or better way.

I am gone.
