## Use rigid body with remote displacement

Hello,

I struggling with a set-up of a calculation, attached you find a picture.

There is an assembly with 2 parts:
- part 1 ist flexible, this is the part of interest (displacement/stress will be analysed)
- part 2 is a rigid body, this part is a helping-part to attach the load to the flexible part.
it functions as a lever arm to the flexible geometry with the specific point where the "load" shall be attached (in my case: displacement).

I want to give a certain displacement u with a direction to this point, so that the geometry is bended. This is a worst-case scenario for the simplified geometry.

To define the rigid-body i have increased the young-modulus to E=2.1e1 N/mmÂ².

My Problem is:

- the displacement which i used is applied in one direction, so with the high e-modulus instead of bending the tube, i compress the tube.

How could I work around this problem? In theory I was thinking of a joint with a additional DOF to allow rotation, but I can think of a way how to implement it.
