Antenna software

Hi all,

I have a problem and i hope someone can help me, I am designing an RFID system, using MFRC522 IC see datasheet here, https://www.nxp.com/documents/data_sheet/MFRC522.p...

I'm supposed to design 13.56Mhz antenna (printed antenna on PCb),

1- What is a Good software to simulate and generate antenna radiation pattern for such antenna?

2- What is the methods of measurement (validation) of such antenna?

Thanks in advance, Ahmed tarek

RE: Antenna software

I've heard that COMSOL is good software for modeling RF.

For validation, it seems that you would validate it by communicating with another MIFARE card.

RE: Antenna software

Measurement/validation for an antenna come from a vector network analyzer and anechoic chamber testing.
