Hi, I'm new to ABAQUS and would like to ask questions about to model my concrete block under furnace condition. But I am not sure what I am supposed to do on Abaqus (would like to see temperature/time etc on the mesh model).

1. What is the best way to simulate the concrete block under fire? Is applying heat flux on the surface that will be exposed to the fire the way to go?

2. In the material scene, what other input do I need apart from thermal conductivity?

3. Since the furnace will start from room temperature, it will travel to e.g. 400 celsius with a rate of increase of 20 degree per minute then the temperature will be constant for another hour. How would I stimulate this in ABAQUS? I have try using the step function, but I'm not sure how to set out the temperature or the rate of increase in temperature.

Best Regards
