What type of material would be best used for construction of a vessel in a situation where the unit heats up a material to approximately 600F using an indirect heat source of steam and has the ability to be put under vacuum?

MatrixEnvironmental:

It depends on your fluid. The most common would be carbon steel (many types), assumming the fluid will not cause corrosion or cracking of the metal.
