fire hose reel pipe size

Dear all, can any help me
how to determine the pipe size for two fire hose reel cabinets or more ?

RE: fire hose reel pipe size

You have to know the size of the fire hose. Fire hoses are sized from 1 - 1/2 to 6 inches.

RE: fire hose reel pipe size

Interior hose connections are 1.5" and 2.5" depending on the type of standpipe connection. Look at building code and NFPA 14 for guidance.

For fire suppression questions, there is a NFPA (fire) Code forum.

RE: fire hose reel pipe size

thank you all for your help , but i'm asking about for more than 2 fire hose reel cabinets OF 1.5" HOSE

RE: fire hose reel pipe size

A lot of this will depend on what pressure you have and what pressure drop the design can sustain. Also, there is the length of pipe upstream. If there is a lot of upstream pipe, the cost vs. pressure drop analysis has to be done.
