Where is this reference in the California Building Code 2013?
My contractor installed 2 1/2 x 2 1/2x 1/4" which is all they sell at home depot.
I'm trying to see if I can work around the code.

SDPWS-2006 Section 4.3.6.4.3, has a couple exceptions. But the owner paid for 3x3 washers not Homedepot specials
