Can anyone refer me to the API Spec containing either the relevant calculations or tables showing the joint strength of the various API tool joint threads.  I found a table in a string book that I have but it only goes up to 4 1/2".

Any help would be much appreciated.

API RP 7G; Drill Stem Design and Operating Limits might have what you're looking for.
The Spec for the thread itself is API Spec. 7; Rotary Drill Stem Elements but doesn't include operating capabilities.
