hello,

I am looking for a probe that can spit out 0-5V with respect to temperature in the 0-600C or 0-500C range. Ballpark range, it doesnt have to be exactly that. I posted in another forum about datalogging equipment but I think I got that part covered. I just need the IR probe to be able to pick up temps and spit out the analog signal. Something easily mountable, readily available and not too expensive (under 100 bucks maybe?)

Thank you

IRstuff, I get the feeling he was looking for an instrument, not an IC. [ponder] Maybe the OP should have been more specific!

is a little bit higher than your target price but fits your other requirements quite well.

Thanks guys. I think the Omega piece will work. It is a little expensive but it does what I need.
