Use of monogram API 6A

Use of monogram API 6A

Use of monogram API 6A

Dead all,
It is possibile apply api monogram on flanges or valves where some dimensions have been chanced respect to API 6A ?

RE: Use of monogram API 6A

if its different from the listed values in spec 6A, then it would not be interchangeable, which defeats the purpose of having to "say" it conforms to the spec. For me this is what "monogram" would mean.

hope this answers your question.

RE: Use of monogram API 6A

If a dimension does not meet the API 6A requirements, do not monogram the product.

All requirements (including dimensional requirements) in an API standard must be met in order to apply the API monogram to the product and the manufacturer must be licensed by API 6A to apply the monogram. To check if a manufacturer is licensed by API, visit the API composite list at: https://mycerts.api.org/Search/CompositeSearch

RE: Use of monogram API 6A

Perhaps we should ask for clarification. . .What dimension was changed? And how was it changed?
