Insert picture without box around it?

I haven't found the magic answer -- if I insert a reference picture (.png), DraftSight draws a box around it that I can't seem to get rid of. Any ideas?

Best to you,

Goober Dave

RE: Insert picture without box around it?

Hi Dave,

I think the box is only so that you can select it and/or put it on a layer. It's meant to be like that.

AFAIK, the box doesn't print as a box.

Simon.

Thanks Nomiswerdna, but the box does print as a box. I can't select its linetype in order to zero it out or anything. Perhaps I'll dig some more.

Best to you,

Goober Dave

For what it's worth, I'm trying to place my signature across my seal. Both the seal and the signature (transparent gifs) have a box around them when printing. I have 500 sheets to sign, alas!

Best to you,

Goober Dave

White Paper - Considerations for choosing a 3D printing technology
The adoption of 3D printing into major companies’ product development life cycles is a testament to the technology’s incredible benefits to consumers, designers, engineers and manufacturers.
