FRP Tendons Supplier?

FRP Tendons Supplier?

FRP Tendons Supplier?

Anyone know of a supplier for FRP Tendons? It can Aramid or Carbon, even Glass but I doubt they even make them. And not to be confused with Bars, which are not for prestress applications, but tendons. I guess someone who supplies bars could know of tendons as well. Any help is appreciated.

RE: FRP Tendons Supplier?

Aslan (Hughes Bros) from NE have FRP tendons. Link

DFI - now called Diversified Structural Compsoites - may do tendons, too. We used their rod products about 15 years ago. Link

Your anchorage/grips to the tendon/s and stressing are going to be critical and expensive!

RE: FRP Tendons Supplier?

Thanks for the links! I've called them and left a message. Looking forward to their call back.

RE: FRP Tendons Supplier?

Worked with Aslan for FRP rebar on a project and everything came out great. Good to know they do tendons as well.

Maine Professional and Structural Engineer.
