Help with model

(OP)
I'm creating a 3D model of an LMI chemical feed pump. The pump has a fitting on top which has a knob show in the attached photo. The knob has a teardrop shape and curves in two directions. If anyone can help me model this knob or give me some suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

RE: Help with model

Extrude it from the top view, rotate it 90 degrees. Create an arc that represents the top edge looking from the side. Create a solid that has the arc as one of it's surfaces. Subtract one from the other. The corrugations can also be done if needed similarly.
