My Autocad 2008 ESC key is not working. Please help to resolve

Have you tried turning it off and back on, again? Then once more?

Does the 'ESC' key work in other applications?

Does anything appear at the command line when you hit the ESC key?

Are you sure Autocad is the application 'with focus' when you're trying to cancel a command?

Can you check and see if there is a different command mapped to the ESC key?

Can you check and see if the 'cancel' command has been removed from the 'ESC' key in the CUI?

This happens to me when I have Photoshop open at the same time as AutoCAD.
I believe it is caused by Photoshop, because the ESC key doesn't work in many applications when I have them open at the same time. Excel, for instance.

There isn't any problem with the software. You should restart the same. Also the software itself needs more space so remove all the other softwares which are taking more space.
