Hello all,
I need help to find supplier for new pull rods for creep testing device. Material is MAR M246.

Thank you, I tried with them they have to reply to me are they willing, or can, make different diameter than they have on stock. Any other supplier if you can think of?

You might also check with Instron, I believe their Satec division is still building creep machines and pull rods.

Still did not found anyone who can and will produce these pull rods. sad

if you are not too fussy with the source


otherwise Zwick / Roell do use this material for their pull rods
alternatively we use nimonic 105 for stress rupture pull bars which works well, if you can get some of course

Finally I will make shells and cast bars myself. Machining should not be a problem!
