Removing Margarine from plastic Bags

Dear All,

I want to recycle waste plastic bags but before recycling we have to wash the bags so that margarine can be removed from the bags, i have tried to wash it with detergents but there is problem of stickiness in the recycled chips. can any one guide any formula of chemical?? which can be used to remove margarine.
 
What temperature have you used? Typical detergents like sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate may be good enough at higher temperature. If not, then you may need to go to a stronger alkaline cleaner that uses sodium hydroxide and a temperature of 55 degrees C.
 
Have you determined if it is worthwhile, or perhaps even counter-productive?

It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.
