Good to see that API 22nd Edition has clarified as to what AISC manual of construction to be used for WSD design of open sections i.e AISC 335-89 and not AISC 360-10. Their statement that AISC 369-10 is not to be used for design substantiation would imply that do not recoomend it for LRFD design substantiation either. Also aligns with API 4F that has always stated that AISC 9th Edition must be used when designing drilling structures.
