Correcting Resolution when Zooming

Correcting Resolution when Zooming

Correcting Resolution when Zooming

(OP)
When I zoom in on parts or even sketches.....how can I correct the display so that curves remain curved? For example, in CATIA V4, when you zoom in close on a circle, it becomes a hexagon or an octagon, because of the zoom. I remember in V4 there was a command to correct the resolution so that it would become a perfect circle once again, no matter how close you zoomed in. (Of course, when you zoomed out again, you would have to execute the command once again, to see your entire part or sketch). Is there a similar command or option in CATIA V5?? I want to be able to zoom in on my curved parts, and still be able to see the curvature perfectly!

Regards,

Max...

RE: Correcting Resolution when Zooming

hi,

Go to TOOLS/OPTIONS/GENERAL/PERFORMANCES...

you will find some values (3D and 2D accuracy and Level of detail) to minimize in order to get a better resolution.

I dont think you have any other paramters...

Have fun,

Eric
