sketch from DXF issues

I'm having some issues importing DXF's for a sketch.

When i place the sketch and scale it appropriately the sketch erases and an error comes up reading " section solve failed".

I'm not sure why i looked at the dxf and it's a closed polyline in autocad. No dual entities either.

Any help

I would try exploding the polyline. I'm not sure Pro/E can deal with a polyline, it certainly never creates one in a DXF out.
