Drape a 2D sketch pattern on a surface

Ok, I thought I saw where v5 could do this, but can't seem to find it...
I have a 2D flat pattern that I would like to "drape" or apply like a decal to a surface, it may be a flat, curve, or bumpy surface.
I'm not talking about projecting the curves, this results in too much deformation of the resulting curves.
I am looking to wrap or drape the pattern onto the surface with no deformation to the curves.

SolidWorks has a function called Wrap, but I was hoping to work in Rhino, as I like it soooo much better.
Is there something in v5 that will work?
