Microsoft Word 2010 Template

Microsoft Word 2010 Template

Microsoft Word 2010 Template

I inserted a Table of contents using Microsoft word 2010. I have one formatting issue that I have to manually correct every time I update the table. Every time I update the table word automatically adds a couple of spaces in from of one of my headings (inspection#13). I have tried deleting and adding a new TOC, Deleting and adding the heading in question, but those spaces reappear. I have attached a picture of the updated TOC. Is there a way to force TOC to stop adding spaces?

RE: Microsoft Word 2010 Template

Have you tried using Format Painter, going from any row above where Inspection#13 occurs to the row where Inspection#13 occurs?

RE: Microsoft Word 2010 Template

Format painter works for a manual table fix, but every time I update the table the spaces reappear. I tried format painter on header Inspection#13 too but that didn't work.

RE: Microsoft Word 2010 Template

OK, I don't quite understand the situation. This is something perhaps "hidden" in the formatting of the Word document? You checked the Show/Hide paragraph marks and hidden formatting in Word (Ctrl+*)?

RE: Microsoft Word 2010 Template

I forgot, also do the same with your original file to see the difference (I corrected it on REV DOC)

Thanks for the help with the ruler option!
