304J1 and corrosion resistance

Is anyone familiar with above grade and how it's corrosion resistance compares to 304, particularly in regards to SCC? From what I gather, the grade has slightly lower cr and ni, with a 1-2% addition of Cu. supposed to have better workability characteristics.

The Cr will dictate the corrosion resistance, any lower Cr is lower corrosion resistance.
What is the UNS? 30430?, With an alloy number we can identify the actual chemistry and make a judgement.

Ed,

I can't seem to find a UNS - from my google searching, the grade seems to be reasonably popular in Asia, but not the US.

The designation I have seen is KS D 3698 grade STS 304J1 - I believe this is a Korean standard.

The Cr levels look similar to 304, they have lowered the Ni in lieu of Cu.

15% is a lot lower than 17.5%. This is a very lean version of 304.
That said, since it is an austenitic stainless it will have SCC properties very similar to all of the 300 alloys, very poor.
