Hello
I work on a project about ingrating a new control to an old CNC lathes machine, an Ernault-Somua 400-0 with control allan Bradley 8400. Unfortunately, we start from point zero, having no documents or drawings. My questions come from the motor side.
The spindle motor is a Leroy Somer CLS160VL130, which is controled through a drive Gettys 360 type 11-1060-04.
1. How do I check the motor? Are there any documentation for this motor available?
2. If I get rid of this Gettys, what kind of control would you suggest?
3. In case of keeping the Gettys -most unlikely because no drawings are available-, what kind of control would you suggest?
