Conversion of Catia 5 to Pro Engineer 2001

(OP)
I wish to convert some Catia files to Pro Engineer format.
IRIS has been mentioned to me as something which might be of some use.

Is there anyway in which models can be transfered between systems to a level in which they can be modfied and not just transfered to block igis form.

Once the work has then been done I would want to convert the models back to Catia.

RE: Conversion of Catia 5 to Pro Engineer 2001

Hello Paul,

You may investigate Translation Technologies Inc.

http://www.translationtech.com/

They will do a feature recognition translation from CATIA to PRO-E and back for you (at a cost of course).

Jeff
