RE: F&K Delvotek Auto Wirebonder

Hello Bart:
I am looking for a large area wedge bonder for 1 mil gold wire. I have information on K&S 8090 but cannot find anything about the Delvotek. Who makes these things, and do they have a web page?

RE: F&K Delvotek Auto Wirebonder

Hello Bart:

We have just purchased a 6400 at the Nortel auction, and must complement Delvotek on their very professional support in helping to arrange preparation for transportation. Looking forward to getting the machine operational.

Congratulations on your recent purchase.  The Delvotec guys are great.  I would like to help any way I can.

RE: F&K Delvotek Auto Wirebonder

Delvo's my favorite wirebond machine! But then, I duno if it would stay that way, we are shifting from gold to aluminum... they say it's difficult to bond aluminum wires..
Any tips? thanks!

RE: F&K Delvotek Auto Wirebonder

Bond to what?  Aluminum is the standard bond wire for most commercial ICs.
