Conflicting info about ACME threads

I'm looking Table 2b (Gen Purpose American Natl Standard Single Start Screw Threads) and Table 3 (Gen Purpose Acme Single Start Screw Thread Data ASME/ANSI B1.5-1988) on pages 1797 and 1799 of the Machinery's Handbook 26.

Table 2b states that the maximum Minor diameter for a 3/4-6 thread is .5633 inches.
Table 3 states that the basic Minor diameter for a 3/4-6 thread is .583 inches.

So which is it?
 
Answered my own question. It required me to actually read [smarty]. The Basic Diameter is the minor diameter of the internal thread. This is not stated on or under the chart. It was is the reading a few pages before (pg 1792)
