Hello,

I am studying master of engineering and doing thesis on mine ventilation planning. Can anyone tell me how to get the free software for mine ventilation. I need this software for mine modelling and analysis of the different modelling techniques.

Regards,
Bimal

I don't know the answer to your question, but if I needed to know and I couldn't find the info elsewhere, I'd contact MSHA and ask them.

Back in the late 1970s when I first started using computer software for ventilation simulation, the only usefull software cost money. Free software was available, I tried it, it was useless compared to that which required a small outlay of funds. Cant see that things have changed that much over the years, especially since all presently available software that I am aware of is derived from one of the two main alternatives that were being developed in the 70s/ 80s

Thanks for your kind information.

Regards
Bimal
