hi,

I want to know if there is any requirement on the NEC or on the NFPA that states that hazardous area clasification as per NEC 500 shall be done by a certify profesional.

I know the IECEx that provide certificates related with Hazardous area designs but dont know about the NFPA requirements.

Please advise.
