Like to find (on Internet ?) formulias for the effects of compression on two epoxied together materials of different "E" and cross sectional areas. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thread has some info about compound sections, which I think is what you are interested in. The simplest methodology consists of factoring the width of various segments of a beam according to its modulus. A more sophisticated and generally applicable approach uses the area and modulus multiplied together for all materials. These matters are covered in mechanical engineering text books such as Gere and Timoshenko.
