Convert 3d DWG file to 2d: MakeFlatSnapShot Command

Convert 3d DWG file to 2d: MakeFlatSnapShot Command

Has anyone gotten MakeFlatSnapShot to work on DraftSight? It's supposed to be the equivalent of FLATSHOT in AutoCAD. I have some 3d DWG files that I want to flatten out into 2d views.

When I run MakeFlatSnapShot, I get an error saying it can't find anything to project. If I explode the model first, there's no error but it still doesn't insert the 2d block.

Does anyone know a way of turning a 3d DWG into a flat 2d DWG in Draftsight?
