Advice for an Agricultural Engineering major?

Advice for an Agricultural Engineering major?

Advice for an Agricultural Engineering major?

Anyone have any experience with SUNY Cobleskill Agricultural Engineering Department?

If so, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Advice for an Agricultural Engineering major?

I don't, but I would suggest seeing if they are accredited. This is important if you ever want to get your PE.

Personally I am put off by the heavy John Deere emphasis (especially as an ex-CaseIH employee), but I'm sure they get some good benefits from the association.

RE: Advice for an Agricultural Engineering major?

They are accredited(part of New York state Public College system)

RE: Advice for an Agricultural Engineering major?

Be aware that each program whithin a school is accredited independantly. Just because it is part of a well known school isn't good enough. There are certain minimum criteria that takes some time and money to document plus ongoing reviews.

RE: Advice for an Agricultural Engineering major?

Valid Point, my thought process was why Deere sponsor an non-accredited program. that is all
