Dear all,

Does anyone know where to refer if we went to design Liquid N2 Storage Tank?
hopefully specific references if could be.

API 620 Appendix Q and R would be applicable to *refrigerated* storage of liquid nitrogen. ASME Section VIII would be applicable to *pressurized* storage.

Caution, these are not simple design problems. There are many things to consider in the design of a complex tank system. I would advise seeking out a competent engineer with experience in this area.

Thanks for the response. As an entry level engineer I am going to try calculated it. Basically this storage was addition one that typical with the existing. if it can't work i would find out competent engineer.
