Hey every one.... i am currently working as trainee development manager in a petrochemical firm.

Can any one please tell me any solvent(preferably acid) which can dissolve sodium oxalate.
Solubility of sodium oxalate is very less in water.

y don't u try hot water. solubilty increass considerabily.

Ask the vendor you buy Na2C2O4 from. They may know.

Good luck,
Latexman

I'd try in the lab citric acid, with and without EDTA, if it doesn't succeed, then try stronger acids such as HCl.

Thank you every one for our consideration.
@ Saleda, we can't use water as water is reaction inhibitor in our case.
@ Latexman, ya i have asked vendors they recommended HCL.
@ 25362, Thanks
