Stitched Surfaces Do Not Create Solid

I have created 3 surfaces that I think create an enclosed volume. I am attempting to used the "stitched surfaces" command to stitch them together to create a solid body. The help says when I do this if it is closed I should have an option to create a solid body but I am never presented with that option. The stitched surface command simply creates a single surface out of the three without creating a solid body. The file I am working with should be attached. I deleted the stitched surface so the only surfaces remaining are the ones I want to use to create the solid body. Any help is appreciated.

Also, its my first post so hopefully I'm not making any sort of horrible faux pas but please politely let me know if I am.

There are two possible workflows here.

Take what you have done and re-apply the stitch command. Then select "stitch" from the feature tree, right click and select "attach", then select "add".  This will give you a solid.

The other (possibly more normal)way is to create an inside or outside surface only (no thickness)and use the "thicken" command.

Also, I would create this in the "ordered" environment as opposed to synchronous as there is no way to edit it (which is pretty useless really).

Thanks for the tip. Stitching the surfaces together and selecting attach then add worked great. That is the second time someone recommended that I do surfacing in the ordered environment so I will definitely stick with that in the future. I also found that if I stitched the three surfaces together under ordered, the command asked me if I wanted to create a solid like the help said it would. It did not do this while stitching under synchronous so I consider that a bug. It would seem that all surfacing must be done under ordered with Solid Edge to work properly. Also, I used the thicken command the first time and it made the small radius on the flange deformed so I was going to have to do the flange area after thickening the rest of the part. Now that my question is answered I don't have to mess with that! Thanks for your help!
