I am trying to put together an engine test facility to run experiments on HCCI. I have an old Waukasha fuel research engine and I am looking for companies that manufacture dynamometers that I would be able to couple to this engine. I have found out so far that Waukasha no longer services the lower end (crank case) of the engine, so I may be interested in a complete test set up. The HCCI combustion method basically takes a lean fuel mixture and compresses it until it auto ignites. This condition generally is the knock zone that is why I am using an old octane rating engine. If anyone could give me any companies, information, or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Today, the pace of innovation in the manufacturing industry is faster than ever before, but at the same time engineers are under increased pressure to get concepts to market quickly. Development teams must make fast and accurate decisions during the conceptual stage of design.
