3D Systems aquires Alibre

(OP)
Alibre announced today, that it had been acquired, by 3D systems.
Here is a link to an article mentioning this. They have not even notified the users at the time I write this. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

The good engineer does not need to memorize every formula; he just needs to know where he can find them when he needs them.  Old professor

RE: 3D Systems aquires Alibre

Not really.
They started shipping version 2012 on the 17th of October
They have their own forum at  http://forum.alibre.com///

Which is why you do not see much activity here.

Thanks. I went there and registered. It looks like a pretty good site.

I have used this site for several years for help in AutoCad. I have full 2008. I have over twelve years in CATIA, from V3-V5 but I can't afford that for a home office.
