Petroleum products quotations

Petroleum products quotations

(OP)
Dear all,

I have a question relative to petroleum product quotations (market price) that are reported daily by agencies, such as Platt's.

Those quotations have references like:

- U.S. Gulf Coast Waterborne - Unleaded 87 - d:0.742 or Rotterdam Barges FOB - Premium Unleaded 10 PPM (for gasoline)

- U.S. Gulf Coast Waterborne - Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel or NWE Cargoes CIF - Diesel 10 PPM - Basis Le Havre (for diesel)

It seems that each quotation reference is related to a given product quality, in a given geographical area (US Gulf Coast or North West Europe for example).

My question is: Do you know where I can find data sheets (with main characteristics) for the product referenced in quotations?

Thanks

RE: Petroleum products quotations

Here is a link for the gasoline spec.

Here, below, is an extract that states the essentials. Vapour pressure would vary with geographic area and season.

"Quality: The Mediterranean unleaded cargo assessments
represent EN 228 95 RON meeting Italian, French, and Spanish
specifications. The RON is 95 and the MON is 85. The specific
gravity for Mediterranean assessments is 0.755 g/ml. Aromatics
limit is 35 max."
