CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THE TRUE DEFINITION OF " SEAMLESS PIPE FITTINGS AS IT RELATES TO LAP JOINT STUB ENDS ?

Seamless fittings means there is no long weld seam used for manufacture. Your question as to how it relates to lap joint stub ends is confusing.

Thank you for your your response, your answer is exactly what I thought. Let me clarify the question as to the lap joint stub ends
If we were to weld the entire lap onto the end of a seamless pipe (essentialy a weld build up on the OD ) would this still the be a seamless fitting ?
