2011 being a beast

2011 being a beast

2011 being a beast

(OP)
tonight I modified and saved a part I was working on.
When I tried to re-open the part I got an error message saying "Problem opening part xxxx" I clicked ok, the screen opened with all the toolbars visible but no part. Just a white screen. At the same time, when I tried to go to the Alibre help center, it told me I had an invalid email address. What would prevent a properly saved part from re- opening, or what would have messed this up during the save process.

RE: 2011 being a beast

Have you posted to the Alibre user forum? I seem to recall this happening before.

I'll take a look see.

After I posted this, I went back to the part, opened a sketch on the blank screen, then clicked on a tool bar. The computer screen went blank, then went to safe mode, all in about 2 seconds , the screen then  went to normal mode and the part appeared ,  the program functioned normally after that, I still cannot log onto the Alibre forum, it keeps telling me I have an invalid email address, it worked fine before I downloaded 2011.

I just downloaded the latest update, which fixed that problem.
