Good Day everyone.
I have been trying to develop a formula or an excel calculation that will do a specific calculation for me and I was wondering if anyone out there can help.
I need to know the exhaust velocity and volumes of various engines. Ranging from 100hp-1800hp. with several variables
a=Displacment
b=rpm (generally 1000-1200)
c=exhaust diameter (4"-24")
d=boost pressure(0 if NA, # if turbo)
For example one case I am working on right now the specs are as follows.
a=3520cu.in.
b=1200rpm rated BHP 515
c=8"
d=0
If you need bore and stroke it is 9.375"x8.5" 6 cyl.
Compression ratio is 10:1. 4 stroke engine.
Our fuel is always CNG
