Aluminum Handrail

Aluminum Handrail

Aluminum Handrail

(OP)
Hello,

In the past I have always specified using 6061-T6 alloy for the entire handrail.  Someone has recently told me that they do not make any of the bends out of the 6061-T6, and instead use 6061-T4 alloy.  This is the first time I have seen it and was wondering if anyone else had come across this.  Is it common?

Thanks,
Michele

RE: Aluminum Handrail

Work out if it's possible to make the bends you specified with 8 pct elongation.
